Italian giants Napoli are readying a summer bid for Villarreal attacker Suarez, Spanish source Don Balon suggests.

The 22-year-old played a fundamental role for the Yellow Submarines as they knocked out the Azzurri from the Europa League last month.

Don Balon claims that the Serie A outfit are hopeful of negotiating a deal with their fellow league rivals for Suarez this summer.

It is added that club's pursuit could be hindered if Barcelona decide to activate the player's &pound2m buy-back clause at the end of the season.

Suarez has made 25 league appearances for his club this season.
