Nicolas N'Koulou to Man Utd?

Manchester United are the latest side to be linked with a move for Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou. The Cameroon international is expected to leave his club at the expiry of his contract this summer.

The 25-year-old is said to be considering his future options with the French outfit facing a major financial crisis.

French sources reveal that United could consider a bid for the central defender, who is also said to have caught the eye of league rivals Chelsea.

It is also known that the player is likely to evaluate all offers before coming to a final conclusion in the summer.

United have struggled to keep a steady defence at the back this term with the club failing to sign a suitable centre-back to partner England international Chris Smalling.

N'Koulou has earned over 60 caps with his national side since his debut in 2008.
