Aston Villa fans want Remi Garde out

22 March 2016 - 12:14

A survey conducted today with Aston Villa fans has revealed that more than 80 percent of the club's supporters are in favour of giving manager Remi Garde the axe. The Birmingham based side are headed for the Championship next season.

  • Chelsea agree personal terms with Messinho
  • Arsenal very impressed by 41-goal striker ahead of possible move

  • Garde, who had been brought in as a replacement to Tim Sherwood at the end of last year, has struggled to turn around Villa's fortunes and now the club look set to be resigned to Championship football next campaign.

The French coach had reportedly been given a vote of confidence from the club's board only just last week, but their fall into the relegation zone seems to have not given the club's loyal support much faith.

It had been rumoured that former coach Tim Sherwood could even be set for a shock return to Villa Park, but this has been ruled out.

Aston Villa club owner Randy Lerner has reportedly decided that he will sell the club in the summer in order to bring in fresh ownership and new investment.

Remi Garde, who has insisted that he is the right man for the job, has a total of two and a half years left on his current Villa contract.

Do you think Remi will be off? have a flutter at I-C.com.
