Leicester City are said to be weighing up a summer deal for Sporting Gijon centre-back Luis Hernandez. The 26-year-old is in the final months of his contract at the Spanish club.
Hernandez, who came through the youth ranks at Real Madrid, has been a consistent performer for Gijon despite their poor run in La Liga this season.
Spanish outlet El Desmarque reveals that the player is likely to have plenty of suitors once his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
It is added that the Foxes are among the leading clubs vying for the Spaniard and are seemingly confident of securing a Bosman move for his services this summer.
The talented defender has appeared in all but two league games for Gijon this season.
