Serie A holders Juventus are apparently leading the race to sign Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula. The 26-year-old has been in top form for the Serie B outfit, and this has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.
Italian outlet Tuttosport claims that the Old Lady have been keeping a close eye on the player's progress at Pescara, and are set to lodge a summer offer for his signature.
Lapadula has been tipped to leave his club even if they secure promotion to Serie A next season.
The £8m-rated striker has netted 23 goals in all competitions for Pescara this term.
