AC Milan are interested in pursuing a summer deal for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The France international has been tipped to leave the Magpies, should they be relegated from the English top flight.

Sissoko has caught the radar of a number of clubs in recent weeks, but according to Tuttomercato, it is the Rossoneri, who have expressed strong interest in his services.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Sissoko could be forced to remain at St.James Park as he has no relegation clause in his existing deal.

The 26-year-old is expected to feature for Les Bleus during this summer's European championships.
