Tottenham are reportedly chasing Sevilla striker Alexander Kerzhakov. The Russian striker is reportedly unhappy with his lack of first-team opportunities at Sevilla and hopes Juande Ramos will give him a chance in the Premiership.

  • The 25-year-old has been at the Sanchez Pizjuan for almost exactly a year, scoring 11 goals in 36 appearances, although half of his outings have been as a substitute.

Kerzhakov, who made his name at Zenit St Petersburg, has recently been linked with a number of clubs across Europe, notably Spurs, who are now managed by former Sevilla boss Juande Ramos.

Kerzhakov told Sports Express: "I am not satisfied with the present state of things as I'm determined to have more playing time.

"So I could change clubs, although I'd like to continue my career in Europe."
