Italian champions Juventus are ready to test Arsenal's resolve with a multi-million pound offer for German midfielder Mesut Ozil.
The World Cup winner has been in top form for the Gunners this season despite their failure to keep up in the title race.
Gazzetta dello Sport says the Old Lady have sounded out interest for the player as they seek to bolster their midfield options ahead of the next campaign.
However, the Gunners are unlikely to entertain bids for the 27-year-old and are set to make him the highest paid player in their 130-year history.
Ozil is expected to be offered a new long-term deal on wages worth £200,000-a-week, a £60,000 raise on his existing contract.
