Liverpool are in pole position to sign Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski despite stalling on negotiations last week. The Poland international has caught the eye of several European clubs following his impressive spell on loan at Empoli.
Recent speculation suggested that the Reds were at risk of losing a deal for the 22-year-old after they refused to match Udinese's £10m valuation.
However, according to Messaggero Sport, all is well between the clubs involved, and the deal will go through as planned once the player agrees terms over a long-term contract.
The news is likely to come as a big blow for Napoli, who were looking to take advantage of the Reds' reluctance to seal the move.
Zielinski will look to star for his national side during this summer's European championships in France.
