  • The Swiss international has been at Leverkusen for two years and has been a regular since joining. Barnetta is looking forward to the Euro 2008 tournament in his homeland where many are tipping him to be the major light for the Swiss side.

Barnetta was named as one of the shortlisted players for the tournament's Best Young Player award in the World Cup in 2006.

Leverkusen are reportedly ready to listen to offers, but Everton may have to pay up to £5 million to land the Swiss international.
