Benfica midfielder Talisca is nearing a move to the Premier League with Liverpool. The 22-year-old has caught the radar of top European clubs this summer despite struggling to establish himself as a regular at Estadio da Luz.
According to O Jogo, the Eagles have agreed on a £21m fee for their asset with an unnamed club, widely believed to be Liverpool.
Talisca will now seek to acquire a work permit under the 'Exceptional Talent' criteria having featured for Brazil at the junior levels.
The youngster had his stand-out moment last term when he scored a brilliant free-kick against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Brazilian has amassed 20 goals for the Primeira Liga holders since his switch from Bahia in the summer of 2014.
