Barcelona youngster Martin Montoya will transfer to La Liga giants Valencia. The full back has been told he is surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou and will wrap up a transfer next week.
Montoya has struggled to find regular first team football at Barcelona and has finally decided to make a move elsewhere, with Valencia having a 3.75 million euro bid accepted already. Montoya is now to travel to Valencia to discuss a new contract.
Montoya spent last season on loan in Italy with Inter Milan, but failed to impress enough to win a permanent contract with the San Siro side.
