Swansea City add Jurgen Klinsmann to shortlist

USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann is the latest to be associated with the head coach role at the Liberty Stadium. The Welsh outfit are considering the position of Francesco Guidolin following a lacklustre start to the new season.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The Swans have struggled to mark their mark during the opening stages of the campaign, and are currently lying just above the relegation zone in 17th place.

According to The Star, the club's hierarchy have stepped up their search for a new manager with Guidolin likely to be sacked, should his side fail to earn a positive result against Liverpool over the weekend.

Ryan Giggs and Bob Bradley have already held discussions with the American owners, and Klinsmann is the new man on their shortlist as they bid to put an end to the Swans' dismal league run.

Klinsmann has recently gone on to Twitter to state that he is not interested in the vacancy with the England national side.
