Stoke City winger Xherdan Shaqiri could consider a winter switch to AS Roma, as per his agent. The Swiss footballer has yet to step up his game in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old has featured in just three matches for the Potters this season due to injury, and this has sort of affected the club's league form.
Agent Erdin, who also happens to be the brother of Shaqiri, has confirmed that the attacker may be tempted to join the Giallorossi in the New Year.
"I can't say much. The only thing that's certain is that Xherdan is focused on Stoke City," he told Corriere dello Sport.
"January is a long way off, there will be time to evaluate the various options. But Roma? Never say never...".
Shaqiri linked up with Stoke City from Inter Milan in the summer of 2015, and has since racked four goals in all competitions.
