Leicester City set to sign Molla Wague

The Foxes are set to sign 25-year old Malian defender Molla Wague from Udinese.

Udinese's Sporting Director Nerio Bonato confirmed today that Molla Wague is a step away from signing with the Premier League Champions.

The centre-back is undergoing a medical and is set to sign before tonight's 11pm deadline.

Wague has only played in six Serie A matches this season and is desperate for a move away in order of some game time.

Leicester City have been tracking the player over the course of the season and are set to swoop in and make him their 2nd signing of the winter window. 

The Foxes have been trying to strengthen their defence and standing at 6ft 3 would be a great addition at the King Power Stadium.

He has recently been part of Mali's squad at the Africa Cup of Nations where they were knocked out at the group stage.
