Lyon appear to be close to making a move for Nice attacking midfielder Ederson despite interest from Real Madrid and Roma. The player has been in sensational form this season.

The Brazilian is valued at around £4 million and began his career in his home country at Brazilian second tier club RS Futebol before moving to top division side Juventude before leaving for Europe.



Lyon chairman Aulas said: “The Ederson operation has cost Olympique in the range of £8 million. Nice had many offers on table, including from prestigious clubs such as Manchester United and Real Madrid.”
