Malaga join chase for West Ham goalkeeper

05 May 2017 - 05:58

Spanish club Malaga are reportedly tracking the situation of West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian. The 30-year-old has yet to pen a contract extension despite his current deal due to expire in the summer.

  • Arne Slot confirms big Liverpool injury blow
  • Bournemouth close to signing Chelsea defender?

  • Adrian has endured a mixed campaign in the Hammers shirt after having been dropped in place of Darren Randolph during the early stages of the season.

The former Real Betis has, however, returned to the Premier League fold for the past two games, but he is nevertheless mulling over a fresh two-year deal at the London stadium.

Spanish outlet Marca claims that Malaga could make their move for the shot-stopper, should he decide to cut ties with the Hammers in the summer.

Michel's side will not be alone in the player's pursuit with league rivals Deportivo La Coruna and former club Real Betis also in the hunt for his signature.

Adrian earned his maiden call-up to the Spain setup earlier in the campaign, and he will be hopeful of reviving his national hopes ahead of next year's World Cup in Russia.
