Rangers will reportedly a fresh £1m offer for Graham Dorrans, who is deemed surplus to requirements at Norwich City.

  • The Gers failed with a £700,000 approach for the Scot earlier in the week, and according to The Express, they are prepared to increase their price by a fair margin.

Dorrans is currently valued at around £1.5m, but the Canaries' new sporting director Stuart Webber would accept a lesser sum in order to reduce the wage bill at the Championship outfit.

Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has been busy recruiting for the summer with Portugal international Bruno Alves (Cagliari), Ryan Jack (Aberdeen) and Fabio Cardoso (Vitoria Setubal) having all joined on permanent deals, while Dalcio will ply his trade on a season-long loan from Benfica.

Mexican duo Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera are also on the cusp of joining the Glasgow-based club provided they succeed with their work permit applications.

Dorrans, 30, has amassed 59 league outings for Norwich City since joining them from West Bromwich Albion in 2014 - initially on a 12-month loan.
