Palermo admit Amauri move

07 February 2008 - 22:07

The Palermo chairman has admitted that he is likely to lose his star striker Amauri at some stage soon. Man Utd have been linked with the striker who has impressed in Serie A.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Brazil-born forward has been linked with moves to several leading Italian clubs after an impressive season, while Chelsea were also reportedly interested during the recent transfer window.

Amauri opted to stay at Palermo last month, but the eight-goal striker will definitely leave at the end of the season according to Foschi.

"He is wanted by big clubs and he will leave," he claimed.

"He has different aspirations and it's fair that he goes to play elsewhere."
