Juve defend transfer moves

10 February 2008 - 17:04

Juventus director Jean-Claude Blanc has defended the clubs moves in the transfer market. Tiago, Almiron and Boumsong all flopped in the last half of the season, and Momo Sissoko's move from Liverpool was strongly opposed by Juventus' fan base.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • "To give a judgement on the market we must wait until the end of the season, even taking into account our capacity' to make quick decisions it is certainly not easy to continue to improve the quality of this team," insisted Blanc.

"In terms of today, our scouts are working closely with management and the coach to find the right players for another leap in quality next season."
