AS Monaco's Fabinho responds to transfer speculation

03 April 2018 - 14:42

AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho has dismissed the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the campaign.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Brazil international is widely expected to leave the Principality outfit during the summer with Manchester United among the contenders for his signature.

Earlier this year, Fabinho stressed that he would consider a fresh challenge away from Monaco next season, but the midfielder has yet to agree upon a deal with any side.

Speaking on Globo Esporte, the 24-year-old played down any contact with Les Parisiens, though he admitted once more that he would assess his Monaco future during the off-season.

"Speaking the truth, I have had no contact with any team and I do not even care at the moment. I'm concentrating on finishing the season well at Monaco and then, when it's time, I'll sit down with the club and if I have to listen to any proposal, we'll listen," he said.

Fabinho, who has contributed seven goals and five assists for Monaco this season, featured in the 3-0 Coupe de la Ligue final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.
