Manchester United are reportedly planning to hold contract talks with Marcus Rashford once he returns from the summer World Cup in Russia.
The England international had a rather inconsistent showing with United last term and this witnessed him start over 50 per cent of his league games from the bench.
Regardless of this, he is regarded as a huge prospect for the future at Old Trafford and the club's hierarchy are now prepared to commit him to a new deal, The Sun reports.
As per the publication, the attacker is open to extending his stay beyond the summer of 2020 and the extension is expected to increase his wages from £80,000 to £130,000 a week.
Rashford netted a stunning long-range goal during the Three Lions' recent international friendly win over Costa Rica and Gareth Southgate has since admitted that he has a selection headache on his hands.
A number of key players have stepped up in the past few friendlies for England and it will be interesting to see whom Southgate prefers when his side face Tunisia in the World Cup opener.
