Scharner: Wigan will survive

Scharner: Wigan will survive

10 March 2008 - 18:53

Wigan defender Paul Scharner is confident that the Latics will stay up after the weekend's 0-0 draw against Arsenal helped their Premiership survival aspirations.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • "We are now up to 13th but it is not over yet. This is definitely a very big result for us," Scharner told the Manchester Evening News.

"I said before the game I thought we were good enough to pick up a point.

"I am very happy with how things are going for both me and team. We will stay up."
