Lyon snap up Cleber Anderson

23 August 2007 - 16:24

Anderson Cléber Beraldo has joined Lyon from Benfica. Lyon had been scouring the market for a replacement for the long term injury of Cris. Cleber had wanted out of Benfica and Lyon have signed the player to a 4 year deal.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The Brazilian player had stated more than once that he would like to leave Benfica because the team's manager, Fernando Santos, did not play him where he likes the most: the left-center side of the defence.

Fenerbahce had been linked with the player, but France was his preferred destination.
