Lyon snap up Cleber Anderson

Anderson Cléber Beraldo has joined Lyon from Benfica. Lyon had been scouring the market for a replacement for the long term injury of Cris. Cleber had wanted out of Benfica and Lyon have signed the player to a 4 year deal.

The Brazilian player had stated more than once that he would like to leave Benfica because the team's manager, Fernando Santos, did not play him where he likes the most: the left-center side of the defence.



Fenerbahce had been linked with the player, but France was his preferred destination.
