Chelsea reach FA Youth Final

The Blues youth beat Aston Villa youth to reach the FA Youth Cup final. Adam Phillips ensured that Chelsea reached the final of the competition for the first team in 47 years.

  • Adam Phillip came in from the bench and netted in the goal at the Villa Park to take Chelsea into the final.



    The match saw two red cards. Lee Sawyer of Chelsea and Vila's Mathew Roome were dismissed.



    It ended with Chelsea winning 2-3 in the Villa Park. It was Harry Forrester who scored first giving a perfect start to Aston Villa.



    Sergio Rodriguez and Kaku put Chelsea ahead. Forrester scored again and made it 2-2 and then came Phillip who sealed it.
