Aston Villa want Paul Robinson

Aston Villa are considering a summer transfer move for Tottenham's out of favour goalkeeper Paul Robinson. Spurs are keen on signing Espanyol goalkeeper Kameni, and Martin O'Neill may make a move for Robbo.

Scott Carson's future at Aston Villa looks under some threat after Liverpool initially indicated they would like to bring him back to the club.



Now, Aston Villa are on the look out for another goalie and Robinson seems to fit the bill.



O'Neill may be somewhat reluctant to pay the reported £6 million asking price for Robinson, and so an initial year long loan may be an option for Villa to consider.
