Liverpool have reportedly placed a £15m price tag on the head of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who has dropped down the pecking order at Anfield over the past year.

The Belgian was touted to leave the Reds last summer but the departure of Loris Karius on a two-year loan to Besiktas meant that he was forced to stay put to provide cover to new signing Alisson Becker.

Since then, Mignolet has made just a couple of appearances in the club's shirt in the Cup competitions and reports indicate that he can leave for the right price this summer.

According to The Mail, the Reds are willing to part ways with the former Sunderland man, provided any of the suitors are prepared to make their &pound15m asking price for the keeper.

Liverpool are unlikely to make significant signings in the ongoing transfer window but they are hoping to raise as much as &pound100m through player sales to fund their summer business.
