Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has dismissed the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United this summer.
The Portuguese has experienced a stunning campaign with Sporting this term after contributing 32 goals and 18 assists in 53 appearances for the club.
As such, there has been widespread interest in his services and the Red Devils in particular have been touted as one of the favourites to secure his signature.
When asked about the same, Fernandes appeared to dismiss the prospect of leaving Sporting this summer and said that he is focused on linking up with Portugal for the Nations League finals.
He told Record: "I'm with Sporting. There are no contacts with any club, at least as far as I know. Now I want to rest because I have a lot to give to the national team."
Barring Pogba, United have lacked the presence of a creative midfielder in their ranks and solving that remains one of the prime priorities for the club this summer.
