Manchester United have confirmed that Marcus Rashford has committed his future to the club on a fresh four-year contract with the option for another 12 months.
The England international is regarded as one of the regulars at Old Trafford and he has finally agreed to pen a new deal following an extended period of negotiations.
Rashford was initially said to be eyeing a bumper contract worth £350,000-a-week with the club but after a prolonged series of discussions, they have managed to settle on a £200,000-a-week deal.
The forward has reached double figures in terms of scoring in each of the past three seasons and in the previous campaign, he contributed 12 goals and six assists for the team in the Premier League.
He was able to command a regular role upfront ahead of Lukaku during the backend of the previous season and it remains to be seen whether that would remain the case next term with the club eyeing another new marksman.
