Manchester United are still understood to be in negotiations with Leicester City over the transfer of Harry Maguire contrary to the previous report from The Sun.
A recent exclusive from The Sun indicated that the Red Devils had agreed on a £80m for the services of Maguire and the defender would be scheduled to have a medical with the club on Monday.
However, that has not been the case and PA Sport claims that the club are still negotiating a transfer fee with the Foxes, who are understood to want at least £90m for the defender.
Elsewhere, it has been suggested that Maguire has been unsettled by the transfer speculation and he has recently told the Foxes that he would like to join the Red Devils this summer.
United are also interested in landing the signature of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting but reports indicate that they may not be able to afford the Portuguese after spending a record fee for a defender on Maguire.
