Leicester City defender Harry Maguire seems on the cusp of joining Manchester United this summer with the clubs said to have agreed on a £80m transfer package.
The Red Devils failed with a £70m bid for the defender earlier in the month but they are now understood to come up with a renewed proposal which has been accepted by the Foxes.
According to The Independent, the Mancunian giants are on the verge of landing the England international after agreeing to meet the Foxes' £80m price tag for the centre-back.
The same publication claims that the club have agreed to pay an initial £70m for the 26-year-old with the remaining £10m due to be settled in the form of performance-based add-ons.
Aside from Maguire, United are also making progress towards the signing of midfielder Bruno Fernandes from Sporting and reports claim that a deal could be finalised before the end of the week.
