  • The Red Devils have experienced a mixed first half to the season and they are currently in the sixth spot in the standings with a four-point gap to the Champions League places.

As a result, there has been the speculation that they will pursue new recruits at the beginning of 2020 and Ji-Sung has confirmed that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does have plans of bolstering the squad.

"It depends on the January transfers, it depends on what the manager wants and what the club can produce. There will be signings, but it doesn't matter how many we get, more important is how the team can progress," he told BT Sport.

Erling Braut Haaland has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent days but Solskjaer has refused to speak on the speculation ahead of the January transfer window.
