Chelsea have reportedly decided against making a move for Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser after monitoring his performances in the current season.
Fraser bagged seven goals and 14 assists in the Premier League for the Cherries last term and he was fancied to leave the club during the 2019 summer transfer window.
However, the South Coast outfit decided against sanctioning his sale despite the fact that he had already entered the final 12 months of his contract with the club.
Fraser has struggled to replicate the same form this season with just one goal and four assists from 28 league outings and he is expected to leave the Cherries on a free transfer at the end of the season.
According to The Athletic, Blues boss Frank Lampard had approved the signing of Fraser earlier in the season but the club's hierarchy are unlikely to back the manager after noting the winger's struggles this term.
The west London giants are expected to lose both Pedro and Willian when their contracts expire during the summer but it appears that Fraser is no longer considered an option to replace one of the duo.
