Arsenal are expected to sell Ainsley Maitland-Niles to Wolverhampton Wanderers this week, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.
The 22-year-old has been a valuable player for the Gunners in the full-back positions and starred during their FA Cup success last season.
Still, he has not received a regular starting role with the north London side and he appears on the cusp of ending his 17-year association with the club.
According to Ornstein, Wolves have yet to finalise a transfer fee with the Gunners, but they are expected to complete his signing by the end of the week.
Maitland-Niles has previously expressed his desire to play in a midfield or attacking role instead of featuring in the unfamiliar full-back position.
With the long-term injury to Jonny, he could initially play as a wing-back for the Wolves next season before getting the chance further up the field.
Arsenal are likely to accept a fee of around £25m for the sale of Maitland-Niles.
