Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains hopeful of signing both Jadon Sancho and Erling Braut Haaland in the future.
The Red Devils were heavily fancied to land Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg in January, but he instead made the move to Borussia Dortmund after the hierarchy refused to insert a release clause on his contract.
On the other hand, Sancho was deemed to have agreed personal terms with the Red Devils over a summer transfer, but a deal never materialised after they were unwilling to meet the £108m price tag set by Dortmund.
According to ESPN, both players continue to remain on the radar of Solskjaer and the United boss is hopeful of pursuing their signatures in the long-run.
Sancho has more than 30 months remaining on his contract with Dortmund and the club are unlikely to change their asking price, suppose United come forward to sign him next summer.
Meanwhile, Haaland's buy-out clause worth £68m will become active at the end of next season and United could make a realistic attempt to sign him during the 2022 summer transfer window.
