Manchester United may not look to sign a new central defender during this summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils made a slow start to the current campaign, but they have picked up form over the past few months.
At present, they are only three points behind Manchester City in the Premier League and are right in the mix to win the title.
According to Manchester Evening News, Harry Maguire's upturn in form has meant that they are no longer prioritising a new centre-back.
Both Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly have done a good job alongside him and the club will assess their performances for the rest of the season.
The club were concerned with the lack of leadership at the back with Maguire struggling at the start of the season after off-field issues.
He has stepped up with his performances and the hierarchy believe there is no need for any defensive changes at the moment.
