Arsenal have reportedly made a shock move for Brazilian striker Amauri. The Palermo front man had been linked with a summer move to Juventus; but now it seems the London giants are readying a move for the striker.

The Brazilian is out of contract at the end of the year and Arsenal are reportedly set to offer a contract worth £3.2 million to land the striker.



Amauri's agent, Mariano Grimaldi, has revealed the big news as Arsenal look to add firepower to their squad after the long term injury to Croatian forward Eduardo da Silva.



Amauri is regarded as one of the best forwards in Serie A.
