Manchester United are reportedly deemed favourites to sign FC Nordsjaelland forward Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The Ghana international has impressed for the Danish outfit this term, registering 10 goals and eight assists.
According to Football Insider, the Red Devils have agreed to meet the £15m price tag for the forward ahead of Ajax.
Sulemana does not qualify for a work permit, but he could do so if he plays another international game for Ghana.
That could happen as early as next month when the Black Stars take on Morocco in an international friendly.
United were keen on landing Mohammed Kudus from the Danish outfit last summer, but Ajax beat them to his signature.
They have been monitoring Sulemana for many months, and are determined to land his services ahead of their rivals.
Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in Sulemana, who has already earned two caps with his national side.
The 19-year-old can play out wide or as the main striker.
