Manchester United are reportedly the front-runners to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.
The England international was heavily linked with the club last year, but they were put off by the £108m price tag.
They are prepared to make a fresh approach this summer, and Sky Sports claims that they have made contact with his agent.
Sancho has two years remaining on his contract, and it is claimed that Dortmund could accept around £80m for his sale.
Sancho had a superb 2020/21 campaign, registering 16 goals and 20 assists across all competitions for the Bundesliga club.
Personal terms are expected to be a formality, and United are planning to make a formal bid in the next few days.
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that the Red Devils want to sign the 21-year-old before the European Championships next month.
The club are wary that Sancho could attract serious interest from their rivals if he stands out for England at the tournament.
Chelsea are among the admirers of the former Manchester City graduate.
