Marcus Rashford to miss start of next season?

Manchester United could be without Marcus Rashford for the start of the 2021/2022 Premier League season.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The England international suffered plenty of knocks in the recent campaign, but still made 57 appearances for United.

He was hugely impressive with 21 goals and 15 assists. He is currently on Euro 2020 duty with the Three Lions.

According to The Mirror, United have agreed that Rashford will undergo a foot surgery after the European Championships.

If England go all the way to the final, it is expected that the attacker won't be available for the start of next season.

Rashford will need four weeks of recovery before returning to training. In all likeliness, he will miss the first few games.

The club graduate has also struggled with a shoulder problem, but his main concern has been with his foot over the past year.

United have sufficient depth with the presence of Mason Greenwood, Daniel James and Amad, but Rashford's absence will be a blow.
