Milan and Juve romp to victory

20 April 2008 - 20:21

AC Milan and Juventus both picked up superb victories in Serie A at the weekend thanks to trusty duo Kaka and Alessandro Del Piero both grabbing hat tricks for their respective clubs.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Del Piero got the final three goals in Juve's 4-0 rout of Atalanta, and Kaka converted two penalties then added another goal in Milan's 5-1 win over Reggina.

Defender Nicola Legrottaglie was also on the scoresheet as Juventus cemented their third-place position with 67 points.

Meanwhile, in the Milan game while Kaka got his three goals, Alexandre Pato and Filippo Inzaghi scored. A consolation was scored by Edgar Barreto.

Juventus will be closing in on a Champions League berth thanks to the brilliant result against Reggina, whilst AC Milan needed a result desperately.
