Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has hinted that he is prepared to sign a new long-term contract.
The Spaniard's future was under scrutiny last season, having made a number of errors contributing to goals.
However, he has redeemed himself with several stand-out displays this term and could soon sign a renewal.
Speaking to UEFA.com, De Gea said that he is happy at the club, and is not planning to leave anytime soon.
He said: "Where you are loved and welcomed is your home. I've been here for many years and, obviously, anything can happen in life, in the world of football, but honestly I don't see myself away from Manchester United."
De Gea's current deal expires in June 2023, but the club have the option to prolong his stay for another 12 months.
Talks are planned over a new long-term deal. The hierarchy are willing to hand him a renewal without a pay-cut.
It has been a tremendous turnaround for the Spaniard over the past six months where he has won over the fans.
