Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries is keen on making the switch to Manchester United, according to The Daily Mail.
The Netherlands international joined the Serie A giants from PSV last summer, had a superb debut season with five goals and seven assists from 45 games.
However, he could head for the exit door this summer amid their financial concerns. The Mail claims that United are his preferred choice.
The Dutchman believes he can adapt quicker under manager Erik ten Hag, who likes to play with full-backs that are willing to overlap regularly.
Dumfries has operated from the right wing-back role over the past year, but he is a right-back by trade. He won't need much time to adapt to a back four.
It remains to be seen whether United pursue his services. The club are eyeing an upgrade on Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot for next season.
Inter are willing to allow Dumfries to leave, but want at least £26m.
