Chelsea have confirmed that Romelu Lukaku will return to Inter Milan on a season-long loan agreement.
The Belgium international returned to the west London giants after seven years last summer, and he was fancied to guide them to the Premier League title.
However, he struggled to impress for vast parts of the campaign, and ended up with just 15 goals in all competitions, only eight of those came in the league.
Hence, there are no surprises that the Blues have decided to loan him out. Inter will pay around €8m and are set to cover his entire wages for the season.
The Blues spent a staggering €115m to re-sign him last summer, and they will be hoping that Inter are convinced over a permanent deal in 12 months\' time.
As things stand, Inter don\'t have an option to buy Lukaku next summer, but this could change if he can hit the ground running on his comeback to the club.
