Liverpool and Manchester United are both interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer.
The England international has been with the Bundesliga giants for the past two years, and he is expected to continue with them for this campaign.
According to Florian Plettenberg, the 19-year-old is bound to be sold next summer, and Liverpool and United could be favourites to sign him.
Liverpool currently have an aging midfield, and they are expected to spend big on a midfielder with the possibility of many players leaving the club.
United, on the other hand, are also on the look out for another marquee midfielder despite the huge outlay to sign Real Madrid's Casemiro.
Bellingham was on their radar two years ago, but he rejected them to join Dortmund from Birmingham City. He wanted assured playing time.
Dortmund have yet to reveal any intention to sell him next year, but reports claim that they are likely to accept offers in the region of £85 million.
