Paris Saint-Germain are pushing to sign Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante on a free transfer agreement, according to 90min.
The France international has entered the final year of his Blues deal, and he has yet to be convinced over an extension.
The Blues have offered him a fresh two year contract with the option for another 12 months, but Kante has refused the proposal.
The World Cup winner is eyeing at least a three-year deal up front, and this has reportedly led to a breakdown in negotiations.
Amidst this, 90min report that Les Parisiens are in contact with Kante's representatives over a potential free transfer.
Kante will be free to speak with overseas clubs in January, and Les Parisiens are prepared to take advantage of the situation.
The 31-year-old has been out with a hamstring injury during the early weeks of the season, but could return after the break.
He has started individual training sessions, and could be fit for the Blues as they enter the hectic phase before the World Cup.
