Chelsea are reportedly pushing to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham ahead of their European rivals.
The 19-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best young midfielders in world football, and he has been touted to leave Dortmund soon.
A number of clubs are interested in signing him next summer, but The Mirror report that the Blues are eager to jump ahead in the queue.
According to The Mirror, Blues owner Todd Boehly has already initiated contact with the player\'s representative over a potential move.
Dortmund are yet to give any indication over the price tag, but it has been recently reported that Bellingham could be available for £83m.
That would be well within the range of the west London giants, but they will need to qualify for the Champions League first in order to sign him.
They face stiff competition in the form of Real Madrid next summer and can ill-afford to miss out on qualification for Europe\'s elite club competition.
