Chelsea midfielders N'Golo Kante and Jorginho have emerged as potential targets for Barcelona, according to Standard Sport.
The duo have been mainstays in the centre of the park for the west London giants, but they are no longer in the prime of their careers.
With their deals expiring at the end of the campaign, it appears the pair could walk away on free transfers. Barcelona appear keen.
Kante is currently on a staggering salary of £290,000-a-week and the Blues want him to accept a significant pay-cut to stay put.
With the Frenchman reluctant to do so, it seems likely that he will be playing for another European outfit at the start of next season.
Aside from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain are long-term admirers of him.
Meanwhile, Jorginho has opened the door for a fresh renewal, but his inconsistency over the past year has stalled negotiations.
The Blues could be looking into the future with young signings. As things stand, Kante and Jorginho can speak with foreign clubs in January.
