The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has said that his client is keen on extending his contract with the club.
Jorginho has entered the final year of his Blues deal and there has so far been no progress over a possible renewal.
There has been talk that Barcelona are interested in signing him, but agent Joao Santos has refuted those claims.
Speaking to Relevo, Santos insisted that he has never met with Barcelona director Mateu Alemany over Jorginho.
He added that a new deal with Chelsea is the top priority and his client has not had conversations with any other side.
He said: \"I\'ve never met with Barca director Mateu Alemany. We want to extend the contract with Chelsea, it\'s our priority.\"
\"We only had conversations about Jorginho with Chelsea — no other clubs.\"
The Italian has made over 200 appearances for the Blues since his arrival from Serie A club Napoli more than four years ago.
He has regularly talked up his desire to continue with the club, and only time will tell whether the Blues will meet his demands.
