Tottenham have made a final bid for Sporting Lisbon defender Pedro Porro, believed to be in the region of £32 million. The right-back, who can also play as a right winger, is said to be ready to leave Portugal after just signing on a permanent basis in May of last year.
Pedro Porro arrived at Sporting on loan in 2020, and worked his way up to the first team and became an almost ever present this season. Tottenham are looking to add defensive reinforcements during the January transfer window, and the Spanish 23-year-old appears to be the club's primary target.
Porro has plenty of experience despite his young age, having played for Girona in La Liga, as well as a short loan spell with Valladolid in the Spanish top flight in 2019-20. Two years on loan at Sporting followed, before the Portuguese club were able to complete a permanent transfer.
It is understood that Spurs have offered one player as part of a transfer deal, but that Sporting would prefer only money if they are to sell the defender.
